Scott Doyle
Treasurer (elect)

Scott Doyle, Treasurer

Scott Doyle started riding NCAC in 2015 after a friend asked him to join team Sunburst.  He had not even heard of NCAC at that time, but having ridden ALC twice he was onboard to support a ride that has a local route and supports local non-profits.  Since then, he has trained for and biked 6 rides, pedaling thousands of miles in sunshine, rain and hail to help those less fortunate.  Along the way, NCAC provided a path to experience countless victories and challenges… but mostly an environment of caring and camaraderie that has fostered many amazing friendships.
In 2020 he was asked to take the lead for team Sunburst, which he still holds today.  In August of 2022 he was asked to join the NCAC board, which he accepted as an opportunity to use the skillsets developed during his 26 year tenure at Intel to give back to the community.

René Reis
Secretary

René Reis, Secretary

Rene’ Reis first heard about NCAC in 2009 from a co-worker who shared that his first year with NCAC “changed my life”. The following year the two began training for 2010 and the rest is history; Rene’ has participated in eight NCAC rides. In 2011, Rene’s first year participating in the ride, was a year she made “lifelong friends” and learned he value of fundraising for NCAC and other cycling events. She has traveled to Europe and several states in the U.S. to ride her bike; one of her most memorable rides was from Bryce Canyon National Park to Zion National Park, in one day. It was snowing and mid-30’s when her group began at Brian’s Head that day and ended at over 70 degrees in Zion. Rene’ joined the Board in 2022 with a goal of bringing more people to NCAC, old and new members, to ride for an incredible cause. Most of all, to support current and future relationships developed as a result of partaking in NCAC.

Kirk Bradley-Rowe
Board Member

Kirk Bradley Rowe, Member

Kirk Bradley-Rowe’s journey with the NCAC began in 2012, when he first learned about the organization. After attending numerous spin classes, he was inspired to take his passion for cycling to the next level by trying out a road bike. His initial experience was made easier with a hand-me-down bike from a fellow NCAC rider, which he used to prepare for his first NCAC ride. The experience was transformative—so much so that after completing the ride, Kirk decided to invest in his own bike.
Since then, he has participated in the NCAC rides in 2014, 2023, and 2024, becoming an enthusiastic advocate for the cause. Initially unaware of the profound impact HIV and AIDS had on individuals both globally and within his local community, Kirk has since developed a deep passion for the mission of the NCAC and its commitment to ending the epidemic. This led him to join the NCAC Board of Directors in 2024, allowing him to contribute even further to the cause.
For Kirk, the friendships forged during the rides have been life-changing, enriching his life with meaningful connections. He takes pride in being a board member and a dedicated supporter of NCAC’s efforts to combat HIV and AIDS, working tirelessly to raise awareness and drive change within the community.

Colin Gallagher

Colin Gallagher, Member

Colin Gallagher rode his first NCAC in 2024 after moving to Sacramento from the Midwest where he rode the Pan Ohio Hope Ride ten times and raised over $50,000 for cancer research and care. He has participated in several other charity rides in the Midwest and east coast.
After his first NCAC ride he saw the incredible impact of local advocacy, fundraising, and how essential services like healthcare, housing, and education are for people living with or at risk of HIV in the area. He is excited to make a positive impact in Northern California as a board member, supporting a cause he cares about, all while becoming part of a community united for a common goal.
When he is not on a bike has an unhealthy LEGO addiction, likes a good red wine, and is most definitely team Oxford comma.
